Speed dropp after upgrading TD-W9980 vdsl router firmware

I am a new member here, i have a TD-W9980 router for about year and half and it worked flawlessly, but recently i upgraded the firmware from version 150507 to version 160125. At first it worked fine but after a few hours my internet speed dropped from 27 Mbps to 1.5 Mbps. I contacted my ISP and they said that the problem is because of the vdsl modem firmware and it's not compatible with local vdsl line provider. They tested another router from another brand and it worked fine,
Now i am unable to downgrade router firmware from 160125 to 150507.
Please help me to restore the old firmware.
