WPA 4220 PA 8010 P Compatibility?

Just installed WPA8730 KIT to replace previous kit WPA4220 AS the adaptor failed intermittent. New kit works fine with the LAN connected to my smart TV, also WiFi is pretty good. Can I use this kit with my old extenders? All of my devices (PC, tablet and phone) "see" the extenders but won't connect. Or should I just replace them too?
