TP -Link WR841N Slow download over Wi-Fi

Hi, recently i moved my PC a little bit further from the Wi-Fi router so i stopped using the ethernet cable to connect to the internet. What i noticed is that my download speed really slowed down. On the other hand my upload speed stayed the same. With the cable everything works fine.
Connection setup:
2x WR841N 1 connected with the ISP downstairs and the other one over WAN connected upstairs - thats the one im using. Both routers are experiencing this issue. Tried on multiple devices all act the same.
What i tried:
Playing with QoS - currently no rules applied.

Disabling WMM
Disabling UPnP
Disabling Firewall

Crying and rolling in despair
