Hello,

i bought the device some days ago to test my internet connection. Currently i am using a "fritzbox 7312". My problem about the TP-Link is that

i got no synchronization through PPPoe. First off all i tried several resets and did the configuration with quick start and manually. In both ways

when i have a look into my log this happen:

1970-01-01 01:01:50 [5] DSL: xdsl READY!!
1970-01-01 01:01:53 [5] DSL: xdsl HANDSHAKE!!
1970-01-01 01:02:04 [5] DSL: xDSL Training !!
1970-01-01 01:02:17 [5] DSL: xDSL Enter SHOWTIME!!
1970-01-01 01:02:50 [6] PPP: ppp1 sent [PADI Host-Uniq(0x000004c2)]
1970-01-01 01:02:55 [6] PPP: ppp1 sent [PADI Host-Uniq(0x000004c2)]
1970-01-01 01:03:05 [6] PPP: ppp1 sent [PADI Host-Uniq(0x000004c2)]
1970-01-01 01:03:25 [3] PPP: ppp1 Timeout waiting for PADO packets
1970-01-01 01:03:25 [3] PPP: ppp1

On the other hand when i intentionally type in my access data from ISP wrong the log looks the same.

My question is where i have to look for to get the synchronization with PPPoE done.

Greetings Matze

If the setup is correct, power off the modem, turn it back on in about 10-20 minutes. Sometimes it does sync after waiting.

Double check all the info, including ppp username/password, VPI, VCI with your ISP.

One way to verify those info, is reset the modem, set up PPPoE on your computer. If it doesn't connect either, problem should not be on the rmodem
