I have recently purchased a Powerline Adaptor, the TL-WPA4220 KIT and after a rather painless installation I've come across the problem of my Desktop PC not being able to detect the network through either Wi-Fi or a Ethernet network cable. My Laptop, iPhone and iPad were able to connect to the wireless network adaptor without a problem. I am able to connect to the router's Wi-Fi with my Desktop, as well as detect our neighbours Wi-Fi network. I have also downloaded the TP link utility on my Desktop, which detects the adaptor and enables me to change it's settings. All the settings are still on the default as well. Any help will be appreciated, Thank You.

Edit: Now I've been able to connect to the Extender with an Ethernet cable, but it only connects me to the main router. I've still been entirely unable to connect to the Extender itself.

Do you have internet when connect your desktop to the TL-WPA4220 by a cable? If yes, which means the wired connection from the TL-WPA4220 is working. For the wireless connection, you can log into the management page of the TL-WPA4220, and then change the wireless name, channel and channel width to have a try. https://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-1418.html
