Model: RE450
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: RE450_V2_171220
Hi

I've been updating the RE450 and after the update it does not give IP address anymore and only stays with the power light, searching the internet I saw that the repeater may have "Bricked" and I have that access recovery mode to correct the problem. two issues:
1) How do I to enter the RE450(BR) in "recovery mode" and what is the procedure that do i have to do ?
2) Do you suggest anything else that can solve the RE450?

Thank you for your help

Best Regards

Hello, there is only power light on after you upgraded the firmware, did you try to reconfigure it with the below instruction:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/download/RE450.html#video or https://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-1400.html

And the RE450 does not support firmware recovery.

hey, can you see the default wifi network name after you reset  the RE450?

What is the IP address and default gateway of your computer with it connected to the extender? You can use the default gateway to login.

Hi

What a pity, it seems that it is faulty.

Hope that device is still under warranty, and then you can get a replacement.

Good day.
