Model: Archer C7
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.0.7 Build 20180425 rel. 62587

Hi All,

Can you please give me some guide how to connect 2 exact same Archers C7 v.4 without cables.

Point is that i have ISP router on which i have conected one Archer C7 and also on it i have some WD hard drive which is working very fast in local network. However people from another location ( 50m away) are using separate ISP router and another C7 router and when they accessing WD drive conected on 1st location it is 10 times slower.

So my idea is to Bridge to C7 and make like a local network  between 2 of them , and then people from both location will work basically over 1 network and access files localy .

Simple right :)

Cheers,

Hello,

You can setup one of the Archer C7 as the range extender by enabled the WDS bridge function.

You can refer to page 99 of the user guide as well.

While please notice that the performance of the 2nd Archer C7 may be affected a lot cause the interference, like distance, obstacles, other wireless devices.

May it help.
