M7650-D1-V6 MiFi Auto switch on/off with power supply
I'd really like to be configure the 7650 to switch on when I apply power and switch off when I take power away. Is this possible?
Apologies, on the model selection box I couldn't find my model so I selected the first in order to post the query.
Thanks in advance.

Good day.
Are you trying to say:
If you plug the USB charging cable, the M7650 would be on; if the USB cable is unplugged, the M7650 would be off?
If yes, since the M7650 has the battery inside and even if the USB cable Is unplugged, it would still have power.
And if you do not mind, you could download the tpMi-Fi APP, you could power on and off the Device on the APP.https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/m7650/v1/#Apps
Thank you very much.

Hi,
Sorry to tell you that the M7650 does not support this function-- turned on with power applied and turned off with power taken away yet.
While we will forward it to our product department and then they can work on it.
Good day.

Yes the auto on/off feature is useful for Android car stereos where when the stereo switches off it cuts power to the usb turning off the tp router
