Model: Deco P7  
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: 1.2.0

I have been using 3 p7 for now.

 

modem wired-> main p7(A) wired-> (tplink 8ports desktop switch) wired-> p7(B) 

powerlined-> p7(c)

 

Most of the time, all p7 works prefectly.

 

I do gaming (low ping), no problem for streaming videos

 

but my second p7, the p7(B) keep disconnecting (flashing red) for approximately 10-30 seconds, and then reconnect.

 

Can someone help me to fix this problem?

 

Consider both P7(A) and P7(B) are both wired backhauled, except P7(C) is the only device using pure powerline (no mutual wifi connection or wire at all).

 

P7(A) and P7(C) works fine, P7(B) keep disconnecting???

Hi, 

 

How often it drops internet? 

 

Please tell us the Mac address of the P7 B unit.

 

Meanwhile, it is suggested to hard reset the P7 B unit and reconfigure it ; And you can exchange the location of P7 B unit and C unit and test whether the P7 B unit works.

my P7(B) Mac address is: 0C-88-63-C7-C8-AC

 

it does not happen often (can perform well for the whole night), but once it happen to disconnect and reconnect, it usually happen few more times within an hour. 

 

So basically I cant do gaming :(, the reconnection takes around 10 seconds or 30 seconds 

 

And Yes, I have reset all 3 p7 devices and do the initial setup all over again. And try to switch between p7 devices. 

 

That p7(B) location problem still happens, no matter I switch with p7(A) or p7(C).

 

I assume it can be a problem (maybe firmware?) for using wire backhaul?

Thanks for your reply, per you said, all the 3 decos have the same problem when they are located at P7 B location, it seems that the location affects the performance of P7 B a lot.

 

It is suggested to change another place to locate it to give it a shot.
