C50 AC1200 slower than expected wired download speeds
Hi, I'm using the c50 as my router with a virgin superhub 2 in modem mode. I was on the 100Mb down/6 up speed package and was getting 90 wired so not grumbling. I upgraded to the 200Mb down/12 up package but saw no change in my download speed (90) although the upload does show 12Mb. Out of curiosity I changed back to the virgin superhub as router and download speeds showed 190Mb. Put it back in modem mode and went back to the c50 as my router. Download speed back to 90Mb.
Just wondered if there's anything I can do to get the speeds I can get using the superhub as the router (I'd rather not do that as the WiFi is trash)? Very happy with the c50 in all other aspects.

Hi,
Sorry to tell you that the ethernet ports on C50 are 100Mbps ports, that is why the speed is limited and won't be higher than 100Mbps. Almost 90Mbps.

Cause you upgraded the package, and can get 190Mbps from the old router, you can configure the old router as the main router and configure C50 as access point to extend the wifi range.
Below is the instruction: https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/archer-c50/
May it help and have a nice day.
