L2TP VPN can not connect on Windows 10
I am new vpn user and I have configured an L2TP server with a shared key on my laptop. I have tried numerous ways like disabling of firewall but it can’t connect. I use TP link TL-WR841N router. Anyone can help me.

Hi,
Do you want to connect the 841N to the VPN server to access internet or you just want to connect to the VPN server to access the local sources?
While if you want to select L2TP as internet connection type and connect it to the VPN server to access internet, please notice that it does not support encrypted traffic data. So if the front-end VPN server is encrypted, it may not able to connect to it.
And the 841N cannot act as a VPN client, while it supports VPN passthrough, the devices connected to the 841N can connect to the VPN server instead.
Good day.

Hi,
We do have routers which support L2TP VPN server, while if you want to connect the router to the existing L2TP VPN server with encrypted data, I'm afraid that there is no device may able to work together now. Because they do not support encryption data in the WAN side.
Good day.
