HI,

I have purchased an Archer VR600 as a second router to replace an old Netgear WDR3300 that has expired.

It is located in the loft, on the far side of the house from the main Virgin Superhub3 (incomingcable connection) and I am connecting it via an Ethernet cable.

I can get the it working so that it recognises the network, using the smae SSID and password as the main router, all of the ehternet connected devices will work, but what i cannot do is to get an Internet connection.

I have put it in Wireless router mode, disabled the DHCP server and set the SSID, passwords etc. all the same as the main router. I selected an IP address of 192.168.0.202 which is just beyond what the main router uses.

Iwant the main Virgin router to transmita WiFi signal as well.

Can anyone give me a step by step dummies guide ot what else I should check please?

Many thanks,

Mick

As an update, I now have it working and sharing the internet access but only by leaving the SSID as standard. Not ideal but an improvement I guess.
