Use the second lan port as output on main deco? (Deco m9)
I just installed our Deco m9s, the main being next to the tv. My plan was to run an ethernet cable to the main deco and then run an ethernet cable from the spare port on the deco to the tv as it needs an ethernet connection. However when I do this the tv gets no connenction.
So i am wondering if you are able to use the spare lan port on the main deco as output? If not what could be some solutions?
Modem > Deco Main > TV box
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply, glad to hear that it works well now.
The spare ethernet port on the Deco can be used as output port. Please be assured about it.

is it possible to use the second port of the main deco as ethernet backhaul to another deco AND to connect another device (TV), using a switch, i.e., this configuration:
Modem -- ethernet -- Deco Main -- ethernet Switch -- TV
-- Deco slave
so the switch would allow to connect both a TV and a deco slave to the single remaining port of the Main Deco (since its first port is connected to the modem).
Thank you.
