Hello, I am having dsl issues with my modem/router

My device cant manage to connect properly, the DSL led blinks every few seconds for 3/4 times and then turns OFF

On the system log I get 3 lines repeated non-stop: 

xDSL Ready!! 

xDSL Handshake!! 

xDSL Leave Showtime!! 

When testing with another modem I do manage to get the connection to work properly and establish a permanent dsl ON

Ive tried to hard reset, problem continues.

Hello, the DSL led blinks means that the DSL synchronization failed. 

 

Try to hard reset the TD-W9980 by holding the reset button/hole with it powered on. 

 

Or remove the splitter and change another DSL line/phone cable.

 

Besides, you can change the modulation type to G.dmt to give it a go.

 

When and where did you buy this TD-W9980？
