First to tell i ever liked tplink products. 

The RE200 is a repeater so far optimized for plug and play that it is unusable for any advanced network config or advanced users. 

The tether app is the worst i ever seen an so many unexpirienced users wich this app aims on simple send this repeater back. 

I took me 3 hours as an pro to get the mac and ip with nmap till i could access the web interface after i setup the password in tether app, after this the repeater was inaccessible. 

So far for now i know how to hadle this beast. 

But the worst, i use internet access rules for my children via mac Filter. 

The RE200 random connects to the acces point with three devices and for every device connected to the repeater the mac is random generated also. 

Conclusion RE200 makes MAC filtering useless

And so far the RE200 is useless for me. 

Other tplink repeater have options to change this behaviour.
