Hello, I want to buy a dual band router and have sorted between these three.

Acrher C60

Archer C6 1200

Archer C6 1200 Mu-mimu

I know that the C61200 and C60 are old routers(launched in 2016) and that the C6 series are having gigabit ports.

I know the mu mimu router is more recent and have the laterst technology

I requirement is WIFi coverage, considering this.. which router shoulf I take ?

I also plan to connect my old router to extend my range.

Should I go for the new technology ? If yes, then is its range better than c60 ? or if I have to choose between gigabit routers whose range will be more c1200 or c1200 mumimo ?

Please help.Thank You

I agree with Arche rC8, the latest one would be better, cause it has the new wireless technology, like MU-MIMO and onemesh, which can be used to improve the performance of the wireless connection and we can use the onemesh feature to build up the mesh network with other onemesh network expansion devices.

Below is the onemesh compatibility you can read to get more information.

I would go with the latest one. I know it is a different price point but if you have WIFI coverage concerns, I would select a MESH router as the performance should be much better than a router and extender.
