Model: AD7200
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version:

(Ignore the Model details above - the C7 wasnt on the list)

I've just installed the Archer C7 router, upgraded to latest Firmware version.

On wifi I am getting 220mbps

On LAN I am getting 95mbps

Connected to the router via Cat6.

All 4 LAN devices show as 100mbps Full Duplex in the Archer settings page.

The WAN is showing as 1000mbps Full Duplex in the same page.

My LAN Adaptors on the PCs are all Gigabit LANs (confirmed) - the settings pages on Windows 10 LAN driver is set to Auto. If I try to force any of them to Gigabit they all lose connection to the router.

Why is the Archer limiting them all to 100mbps? Is there a setting in the box that will enable it?

I've done many searches and not seen any fixes for this - anyone know?

Thanks

@Palleon

Hello, please login to the web UI of the Archer C7 and go to advanced-system tools-system parameters page to change duplex to 1000Mbps full duplex and save.

After that, you can verify the wired negotiation speed again.

If still the same, please reboot the router, change another ethernet cable or even hard reset it.

May it help.

@Kevin_Z For some reason, 1000Mbps is not an option. Any ideas? I've just gone through a hard reset and tried several ethernet cables that all work fine on other devices at 1gbps. See attached image showing options with device details at the bottom. Thanks!

@KnightE hey, so I was having a similar issue with my Archer C7 and found a solution for it, however I noticed at the bottom of your screenshot what you actually have is an Archer C59. I looked it up and unfortunately it seems it only supports up to 100mbps, this is s screenshot from its specsheet on TP-Link's website, have a look.

@dcasarinc For me I found the powerline box I was using was actually lower than the gigabyte advertised. Once I had swapped it for a proper gigabyte powerline, it worked fine.
