@Garth

Hello,

As far as I know, it might be limited by the chipset but we cannot understand more with the technical limitations or feasibility.

There is a plan to add Onemesh support on the AX20 and AX10, but no ETA yet, if Onemesh and Wi-Fi 6 are the main reasons you choose a device, it is suggested to get one that has already supported them, such as Deco X60 and X20, as you know, only time will tell but plans may change.

Thanks for your understanding. Have a nice day.

Hello Thank you. So if you are willing to take a chance, the AX20 is the next best bet. When is the Deco XC20 or XC60 coming to South Africa? Doesn't seem like TP link has any Wif 6 and Onemesh products in SA?

Based on information gathered the device uses a Intel (Lantiq) GRX350.

The Intel product brief for the GRX350 tells the following on the top of page 2:

"Support for 3rd party mesh infrastructure"
top of page 2:

"Planned support for Wi-Fi EasyMesh* technology"

Since they are using this Intel CPU, TP-Link might rely to the support/development/implementation of Intel... and possibly add additional development ressources on top to get their OneMesh stuff compatibility.... just a guess.

welcome I called their customer service where I was informed that the Archer AX50 Onemesh feature would be supported by the end of August at the latest. do you want to know when to expect this? that's why I bought the router.
