ISP : 3 Ireland

Hello All,
A new member to the forum here, dante.

As stated in the title, my Huawei E353 dongle/modem is not recognised by the MR3420 router. The router functions perfectly with a different dongle (E122). The E353 works fine when connected directly to laptop so I am happy it is functioning fine. Could not find a bin file for the E353. Thank you.

How about make the bin file by yourself? It was said that there is a software called sniffer can make the bin file to make the modem and router communicate.

Was not aware of that. I will do a search for sniffer. Thanks mynetwork, appreciate your suggestion.

this is HiLink E353Ws-2? Seems it can only work on V2 of 3220 and 3420

I haven't used it, so I'm unsure how well it cuts the mustard on newer and 4G modems?

There appears to be some reports of success on 3G modems.
