Model: RE305
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Hello, just bought this extender and can't set it up. All 3 methods from manual fail:

1) via WPS: it's blinking for a while, but does not connect

2) via Tether app: phone is connected to network "TP-Link_Extender", but the app will during the process stop at the step claiming "you are not connected"

3) via web browser GUI: laptop is connected to network "TP-Link_Extender", but browser will NOT open log-in page for tplinkrepeater.net or 192.168.0.254 > tried 3 different browsers (Safari, FireFox and Chrome), but nothing

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

@Vojtech

Hi sorry for the inconvenience caused here. Hope there will be an opportunity to work with you in the near future.

And for others who may have the same question, they can hard reset the RE305 and connect a computer to it by wired cable or wireless to log into the web UI to configure it.

Besides, as you know, this RE305 supports Tether app, you can use the app to set it up. After reset, you can connect your cellphone to the default open wifi to access the extender.
