Model: Archer A2300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.0.3 Build 20180611 Rel. 77668

Upgraded my Internet Service provider to 480Mbps download 20Mbps upload. When using the A2300 download Speed Tester I am only able to see 230Mbps download.

Additionally when I hard wire my laptop using one of the Gigabit Ports on the A2300 and Attach verifying that it is indeed Gigabit Connected I am able only to see 230Mbps download speeds.

When attaching directly to the Cable Modem on it's gigabit port I am to download using speedtest @ 480Mbp/s per second as the Internet Provider has maxed?

Is this router somehow QOS's my download speeds? I have QOS set for Streaming and during custom view shows all options as balanced.

I believe there must be a setting I am missing here or something that needs to be turned off?

@PeteM

Thanks for the information provided.

Have you ever tried to disable QoS and test the speed? Please show us the result.

What is the country version of your Archer C2300? It is printed on the back label, next to the model number.

Good day.
