Model: TL-PA7010 KIT
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 3.2.4_701E14_190426_901

... but speedtest measures only 250Mbps on fast.com and speedtest.net.

I'm pretty sure its not the UTP cable because im using Cat6 at both sides.

What could be the issue?

Both devices are 1 day old and im using TL-PA7017 the model does not appaer on your list.

Hi there

I can explain this for you:

1. First of all, the 850Mbps speed showing in your tpplc utility software is just the theoretical powerline speed.

2. In actual transimission, the actual speed would decrease because there are lots of interferences in the powerline network,  and other electric signals in your house would also affect the stability and speed of the powerline devices.

3. Eventually, we would be able to get 20%-30%of the powerline speed, in your case, the powerline speed is 850Mbps, and the actual speed is 250Mbps, which is normal.

Thanks.
