Model: TL-WPA4220 KIT
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I have WPA4220 kit which has wi-fi clone feature.

I can use it without trouble wheh my modem and powerline's  wi-fi are both on  2.4 ghz. My devices automatycally connects nearby one.

My question is, if i set my modem to 5 ghz , will i be able to use this function with my 2.4 ghz powerline?

Do they have to be on the same bandwidth?

Thanks

@sinanokatata I would suggest manually syncing the WiFi SSIDs and passwords across your devices, as this allows you to set different channels and other settings for each device. If you only have two devices this isn't a lot of work. I don't think WiFi sync is very useful in small network settings.

Also, I would suggest setting different SSIDs (network names) for 2.4GHz and 5GHz, as your clients may not be able to effectively determine which to connect to if they have the same name.
