I need to buy a new wifi extender, the one I had has stopped working after 18 months (Wavlink repeater) the thing is that I live in a granny flat that is about 40 meters away from the main house, and modem; so I need something that will work with an outdoor range. I use the internet for a fair amount of things, streaming, gaming, music, the occasional (most recently) video conference with medical professionals.

Would the AC2600 Wi-Fi Range Extender RE650 work or do I need to look at something else. I don't know who to ask or where to look, and I don't want to buy something and find out it is useless
