@Talaber Hello and thanks tor the coments and the your respond. Unfortunatly this does not give an ansver of my question, but in the same time I see only idea to have a newest better models, but to forget the oldest. My situation likes in yours, so I try to use this devices  they should be able to work somehow together. I hope the support team to take  consideration all this questions.

@Kevin_Z  This feature is the only thing holding TPLink back in comparison to other brands like Asus. I understand that the delay in rolling out 1mesh b/w routers is due to fear of cannabalizing the Deco sales, but that won't happen as even other brands have such features but they still sell dedicated mesh units.

@STN Hello All,

I am agree with your comments and opinion.

By the way: if we connect the second router in a WAN port -to the first router in a LAN port: Then configure the second as an AP, this work. Of course the one mesh is not supported in this scenario, but the performance is OK.

Thanks for your comments.

@Yulli

i use WDS.

it's a stone age, but don't throw away old routers ...

...and so the whole planet is littered with last year's iPhones ;)))

But with these new AX routers you can't even do that, they don't support WDS. There is no way to wirelessly connect two of them.

I could not connect the old TL-WR2543ND via WDS to the main AX73. But after flashing TL-WR2543ND with DD-WRT firmware, everything worked fine. I was also able to connect an Mercusys MR50G router to AX73, and - out of the box, with its native firmware. But in both cases, the bridged router did not distribute WiFi6, but older modes..

I have older C50 that luckily supports WDS so I was able to connect it to AX23 as wireless AP. But if I had two Axs it wouldn't be possible, they removed the support for WDS on newest routers. That's what bothers me the most, mesh functionality is not that important to me.

Yes it is. AX-series does not support WDS. only older routers can be connected to them.

I would fire all their marketers ...

The sad thing is that being Broadcomm based the AX10 doesn't even have OpenWrt.
