Hello,

 

I have Tp-Link Archer T4U V3 adapter with official drivers installed. It worked fine when I was on Windows 1909, unfortunatelly it has updated to version 2004 and since then I am facing some serious issues. Whenever I am connected to my 5 GHz network, after few seconds adapter dissapears from device manager. Reconnecting the device won't help, I have to restart PC to get my usb port working again. When I am connected to 2,4 GHz network it works but I am being disconnected from network whenever I'm trying to download any larger file.

 

I guess drivers need to be updated for the new Windows build.

Well, I already bought another adapter, from the other brand and it works perfectly fine. Never tp-link again!

Well, I already bought another adapter, from the other brand and it works perfectly fine. Never tp-link again!

I own the same adapter and driver support has been abysmal. Connectivity wise is terrible and frequent disconnections/spikes in online multiplayer games. You will need to disable automatic driver's update because windows will try to replace the TP-link driver which is older.

I can confirm that this driver version from 2019 has eliminated the spikes issues for Archer T4U V3. I will let you know if I face any problems in the future. Thank you.

Hello, I bought the Tp-Link Archer T4U v3 today, I kept crashing for a short moment under windows 10, do you have a solution?

This looks like the same problem I had last time before I updated the driver. This is the driver I am currently using which has no issues for me at the moment.
