Archer AX1800 lan port limited to 100Mbps
Anybody had this issue where your router is plugged in a Gigabit Switch and the port negotiate 100Mbps Full duplex instead of 1000Mbps?
I have the latest firmeware - tried to reboot both my switch and the router but is still at 100Mbps - I have a 200Mbps Internet connexion which works fine on the wireless but limits internet speed when wired.
Any ideas why and how to set it up?
Nothing seem to allow me to force me negociation on the Advanced section.
Thanks,
Edit: I use a cat6 cable.

Hi. The device it is connecting to is a laptop. I have tested with all the 4 lan ports and also other devices as well.

@Gordonwv yes it was the cable after all!
I changed the cable with an other one and it worked fine. I had a homemade CAT6 cable, I guess I wired it bad!

I have the same problem - Model AX73. When I connect the modem to PC directly, the speed was over 800Mbps, but when I connected it through the router, the speed was just around 80Mbps. The strange thing is when I upgraded/downgraded the firmware and did a speed test, it would give a high speed result for the first time. When I did the test again it would become slow again. I am sure it is not the problem with cable and PC because the direct connection had no problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If the speed is abnormal when connecting to the AX73 router, please go through these troubleshooting suggestions and make sure the negotiation speed between the PC and the router is good:

@copyrght i alkso have a similar issue tried with TP Link AX 1500 modem with same CAT 6 cable and WAN is configured at 1000 MBPS and LAN 1 at 1000 MBPS. However, when i try the similar cable CAT 6 and with TP Link AX 1800 the WAN port is at 1000 MBPS but the LAN 1 port is capped at 100 MBPS full duplex. With so much of amount and hardly a 2000 rupees less modem is able to deliver better but not this. But box and advertisements shows 1*GIGABIT WAN and 4*GIGABIT LAN (but reality is 4*100 MBPS LAN)
