Internet speeds

I would like to know why my deco connected to my router sends out the max of my internet mbps that is 250mbps and in the room next door only 4 meters away and through 1 wall when i check the speed test while connected through the same deco device it goes down to 15 mbps? In the room next door again that in in the same storey and yet again 4 meters away i placed my second deco and when i go into that room it connects to it automatically . Upon a speed test its showing 10mbps. I bought this setup for me to have flawless and powerful internet through all my house as stated that they do! And not having the same speeds etc just as i was before when using homeplugs as repeaters to provide wifi in places that are not accessable with my main router .
