Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.6 Build 20200611 rel.33480 Beta

As we all are aware that Archer C6 firmware have lots of issues and bugs. I also faced this issue previously.

You can read about it Here

Thanks to helpful friends of this community I was able to resolve the issue by installing Beta firmware. Now, Tp Link has introduced new firmware (Archer C6(EU)_V2_200630) which was published on 2020-07-14.

Is this new firmware stable? Should I update my beta firmware with this new one? After facing lots of issues in the past, I want to proceed with caution. I'm no expert in tinkering, so guidance by technical experts over here would be much appreciated.

@PrakR

Hello,

Sorry, the issue you mentioned is not fixed yet on the latest firmware we released recently, but don't worry that we will fix it in future firmware updates.

Generally, there is no need to upgrade the firmware frequently if your router is running smoothly without an issue.

Good day.

@Kevin_Z

Thanks for replying. I updated firmware only cause of the OneMesh feature introduced by the TPLink which got me intrigued but didn't knew it was buggy. Let's hope for the best. Thanks again.

Hey, @Kevin_Z , is the update never ever arriving? really tired of the bugs, packet loss, signal drops etc.
