Hi Friends,

I have a TP Link TL-MR3620.  My home modem is a fibernet provided by the ISP.  It is in 1st floor. I am in 2nd Floor. I would like to configure TL-MR3620 as my wireless extender or repeater which should not require wired connection to TL-MR3620.   Is it possible? Because, When I go through the quick setup, it does not provide option for me to configure this as anything else other Wireless Router. See below: In some YT video, I see some configuring older models as repeater/access points and those options are given in this screen. For me I dont see it in this particular model. Am I missing something. I do not have wired possibility due to some electrical issue if i want to choose PowerLine adapter. It does not work. So, I want to recycle this router as wireless repeater/ap or extender. Any help would be of great help. Thanks.

@RajSB

Good day.

Thank you very much for your kind reply.

There is no WDS or wireless extender/ repeater mode on the TL-MR3620.

So you might not be able to set it up wirelessly to the main Wi-Fi modem;

Thank you very much and have a nice day.
