Model: Archer VR600
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.1.0 0.9.1 v0057.0 Build 160217 Rel.53237n

Hi,

I hope this is a good place to ask this as I am going round in circles on Google.

I have a Plusnet router in the house and I'm using a tp-link 600MPS Passthrough Powerline Kit to connect to an outside office and into my Archer VR600.  The internet passes through just fine and my PC is wired into the router and we're up an running.  But the Wifi doesn't work through the router too.  Can anyone point me in the direction of how to set it up so I can use Wifi too?  I have a wifi enabled printer I want to use as well as my mobile phone.

Thanks,
Emma

@EmmaH

Good day.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Could you please help me check the IP address on the wired computer as well as your mobile devices when they are connected to Archer VR600

Did you set up the Archer VR600 as an access point mode? Or it is just plug and play?

 If you haven’t done that, please refer to the following instruction:

Thank you very much!

@Sunshine

Thank you for the reply, can I just check:

Plusnet Router with IP Range 192.168.1.64-192.168.1.254

Set TP-Link Router to 192.168.1.65

SIDD and Password for Wifi set to same as Plunet Router

DHCP: Unchecked

My phone is unable to connect as it says it is failing to get an IP address

Can you offer any further advice?

Thanks,
Emma
