Hi, thanks again for your detailed explanation. I understand your request now, you need the router to synchronize automatically even when it is daylight saving, am I right?
We may need to say sorry again that this is not supported yet, but it can be forwarded to the related department as a feature request, they will evaluate how to improve it.
Good days.

Hello,
Do you mean you have enabled daylight saving on the AX6000 while the router time is still incorrect? If you have not tried that yet, please check the daylight saving settings on the router first:
https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202001/20200119/1910012697_Archer%20AX6000%201.0_UG_REV1.1.0.pdf (Page 82)
If the router time is incorrect, please check the below time settings on it as well and ensure all is good:

Thanks a lot.

hi Kevin.
my system time is correct...no issues.
the issue is the available dropdowns for the daylight savings options are not enough.
if you look at for example the end of daylight saving in the Uk is ...
Daylight saving time 2020 in United Kingdom began at 01:00 on
Sunday
,
29 March
and ends at 02:00 on
Sunday
,
25 October
All times are in United Kingdom Time.
i am unable to select the 25th of October as only 1, 2, 3, 4 and last are available in the dropdowns ( also not available in start of daylight saving dropdowns too)
please advise.

Hello, do you mean you need to choose the specific date as the Start and End time? If yes, the current firmware doesn't support it and we can only choose 1, 2, 3, and last as you mentioned.
While we don't think choosing the daylight saving time by the specific date is necessary, as the time will auto synchronize with the local NTP server, you should be able to choose any date by the current combinations.
Please let me know if I didn't get your point correct, thanks a lot.

Hi Kevin.
That's the problem. local ntp servers are always based on UTC. Therefore i must use the daylight savings option.
The selection of dates supplied by the firmware is not enough.
When i select get time via ntp server pool.ntp.org
And daylight saving is unticked. My time shows an hour less.
time.google.com is the same
There are NO ntp servers that automatically adjust for daylight savings hence the need for an additional field to select daylight savings.
Please advise.

Yes that's correct. Just amend the dropdowns to include the figures 1 to 31 so anyone in the world can select the date of their daylight saving change and happy days.
