Archer C9 V5 does not work if radio power is set to low
The router fails to connect to wireless clients if radio power is set to low. This is especially the case for 5 ghz radio.
Has anyone else faced this issue?

Hi, why do you need to set the radio power to low, is there a specific reason? It is suggested to leave it by auto or high to monitor again.

@Kevin_Z Low power setting allows me to create 5 Ghz zones.
Have also seen that not keeping encryption to auto or mode to 802.11a/n/ac creates problems.
Basically, the router has options for customizations but when you try to use them, it breaks.
Looks like the router is designed to work efficiently only in everything auto mode.

By default, the router’s power consumption is set to High, which means the router is running on full power hence giving you the best wireless coverage. If you switch the 5GHz radio power to Low, there might be an issue as the 5GHz wireless coverage is greatly shortened by this change, thus some devices may fail to see it or connect in a certain distance.

How can there be an issue with coverage, even when the power is low, when I am sitting 5 mts from the router, in line of sight?
