I would like to use my mobile phone as a modem to tether to my WiFi router.  Connecting to the USB port doesn't work.  Is there a way?

@MarcusFT

Good day.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

May I know the model number of your TP-Link AC1750, anymore model starting with Archer, or TL-MR xxx?

Did you want to connect the smartphone via USB port to the router as a USB modem?

Thanks a lot!

Hello @Sunshine,

The model is an Archer C7.  If I can tether using a USB connection that would be great.  Otherwise I will need to get an adapter cable to connect using an RJ45 LAN connector, I think.
