Firmware update for Ax10

I have been using ax10 v1.2 for almost a year, the firmware update is still stagnant, the latest update still stays in July, on the contrary the v1 version update has gone to September, I tried to manually install the v1 update file to the v1.2 version ax10, the installation fails every time. The official website says that the hardware version is v1.x=v1. Why can't I manually use the v1 firmware?

Generally speaking, the hardware versions for the 1.x are the same and you can upgrade the firmware for the 1.x. While as for this specific model Archer AX10, there are limitations in the firmware for v1.20 and v1.0, thus you cannot upload the firmware into one from another.
