@786-RAHUL

Good day,

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Sorry for the delay.

When the Jio SIM was installed, if you checked on the modem, was the SIM detected or not?

Have you checked the network type of the Jio SIM to see if it is one of the following types:

4G: FDD-LTE: B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20 (2100/1800/850/2600/900/800 MHz)

TDD-LTE: B38/B40/B41 (2600/2300/2500 MHz)

3G: HSPA/UMTS: B1/B5/B8 (2100/850/900 MHz)

And if there any IP address under the advanced>status>internet, or just 0.0.0.0?

Thanks a lot.

eplying

yes the sim is decteting

jio in my area supports B3/B5/B40 bands

Hello
My TL-MR100 is working fine with other sim like Airtel, Vodafone but in case of JIO its not detecting ISP automatically i.e. not showing default ISP.

In case of Airtel, all the indicators on my router is ON, with internet access.
Also showing default ISP for Airtel on modem login page in quick setup.

In case of JIO, all the indicators on my router is ON except for the indicator which represents internet [ 2nd indicator from the left].
i.e. my modem is showing network bars on the router but has no access to the internet
Also on the modem login page in quick setup its not detecting ISP for JIO sim automatically.

And in advanced its showing:
ISP null
Network type: 4G LTE
Band: 40
SIM Card Status: SIM card prepared.
Signal Strength: 75%
RSRP: -98dBm
RSRQ: -8dB
SINR: 13

even after such network its not connecting to internet .
please give some update or tell me some tricks to get back my internet connection.

Same problem here, even after firmware upgrade to 1.3.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 201016 Rel.35768n.  Auto configuration does nothing for Jio.

After manual configuration, it says Connected, but no traffic, can not even ping 8.8.8.8

ISP: null
SIM Card Status: SIM card prepared.
Network type: 4G LTE
Band: 40
Signal Strength: 100%
RSRP: -96dBm
RSRQ: -11dB
SINR: 8.0dB

Will be returning the product.

@Sunshine

Did you find out any solution to this problem?  I have bought one and is facing the same problem, i.e., TL MR - 100 is unable to detect Jio sim automatically.

  • SIR I HAVE FIGURED OUT HOW TO MAKE IT WORK
  • BUT STILL IT SHOULD BE DETECTING SIM AUTOMATICALLY
  • THAT'S WHY ASKED FOR HELP THAT TIME
  • EVEN AT THAT TIME I WAS USING THE SAME SETTINGS BUT I WANTED THIS ISSUE TO BE FIXED BY SOME SORT OF UPDATE BUT IT DIDN'T HELPED MUCH
  • ONLY THE BAND SELECTION OPTION IS VERY HELPFUL
  • AT THIS POINT I AM STILL NOT SURE IF THIS IS OPERATORS PROBLEM OR ROUTERS, EVEN SO I EXPECT COMPANY TO FIX IT WITH UPDATE
  • AS IT SIMPLY CLAIMS PLUG AND PLAY, MEANS INSERT YOUR CARD AND START USING THE INTERNET.
  • PLEASE DON'T SKIP THIS MESSAGE AND IF POSSIBLE CONVEY THIS MESSAGE TO HIGHER AUTHORITIES OR DEVELOPERS.
  • 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏THANKYOU🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
