TL-WN725N doesn't detect Redmi 9 prime when hotspot is ON
Hello everyone,
I recently observed that the model TL-WN725N is unable to detect Redmi 9 Prime (on Android 10 / 4g Network)
but the phone is detected by other phones of other brands as well as Redmi.
An interesting thing I noticed is that as soon as I connect Redmi 9 prime to some other Wifi network, the phone gets
immediately detected by TL-WN725N. So the problem lies with TL-WN725N.
I need your suggestions to resolve this issue soon.
Thanks

TL-WN725N is unable to "see" other networks as well most of the times whereas those networks are
detected by the phone. Very less often the networks are shown in TL-WN725N. Please provide me the
updated driver in case a new driver is available.

Thanks for the driver. Now the problem is resolved.
Update : Sorry, the problem still persists. The TL-WN725N is able to detect the phone only if the phone is connected to some Wifi.

Sorry, I checked that the problem still persits. The TL-WN725N is able to detect the phone only when the phone is connected
to some Wifi. This was the same problem prior to updating the driver. Updated my last reply accordingly.
Is there any updated firmware for TL-WN725N?

You probably need to change the AP Band in your phone Wi-Fi hotspot setting. Someone else also had the same issue with another phone but changing AP Band resolved it, you can give it a go.
