Model: Archer AX10
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20200827 Rel. 40928(4555)

Hello everyone,

I have an issue which only recently showed up (since last update) on my Archer AX10 router (HW version 1.0):

After a few hours since every reboot, my Chromecast devices (I have 3 of them) are not visible to my smartphones anymore. My Fire TV Stick remains visible.

After rebooting router, they are again visible for a few hours. So my guess is that some internal service crashes or hangs (but of course, it's just a guess).

UPnP is enabled. The rest of my setup  is pretty standard and has not changed in the last year.

I would set it to restart every morning but the problem appears much sooner than 24 hours, sometimes it appears after 1-3 hours or so.

I have the latest firmware 1.1.0 Build 20200827 Rel. 40928(4555) and I can't seem to be able to downgrade to the previous version (which is a shame).

Anyone has a solution to this ? It's kind of driving me crazy...

Thanks !

@cat97

Thank you for the feedback. Can I have the model number of the Chromecast devices? Are they all the same model? Please ensure they are all running the latest firmware, update the app accordingly on your phone.

Try to modify the wireless settings on the AX10, such as 2.4GHz wireless channel to 1/6/11, channel width to 20MHz, security to WPA2-PSK/AES, then reboot both the Chromecast devices and the router to confirm.
