Hi all,

Have been trying to get a VR2800 to work on Sky/MER - I got it to connect ok but as soon as i change the SSID and password to be the same as my old sky modem, it crashes.

I have a lot of stuff on the network but its been ok on the sky box for the last few years, both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz networks have the same SSID and PW, i tried giving the 5Ghz side a new SSID to split them up but the sae fault as soon as i allow 2.4Ghz stuff to connect

When it crashes it also upsets the WAN side too as indicated by the spinning red ball on the WAN status page. I get repeat 9003 and 80009 error codes as well but no help in what they actually mean

Anyone seen this before??

@Dave_K

Don't worry, I have requested to return the VR2800 as faulty and will be going for a different brand of device.
