I bought a ethernet to usb adapther, and after installing drivers it does not work, as my computer doesn't recognise any ethernet cable connected. I am running Windows 10 on a Lenovo laptop, and I tried to find out what version the adapther is but on the label it says nothing. I am beyond dissapointed that I have to go through all this hassle to get a single usb adapther working. I did not find any solutions I could understand online, and I cannot call for technical support as I am outside of the United States now.
