Archer T2U Plus connection/ping/packet loss issues
I bought the new WiFi-adapter just yesterday (Archer T2U Plus AC600) and downloaded the drivers https://static.tp-link.com/2019/201901/20190116/Archer%20T2U%20Plus%20v1_190111_win.zip. My problem is that every time I either start downloading or streaming YouTube videos my ping goes from my Discord server from 100 ms to ~1000-1200 and the download speed reduces to "something" kb/s...
The adapter doesn't work correctly with either 2.4Ghz nor 5Ghz. On my laptop or smartphone the ping stays the same on Discord (around 100 with my server, Speedtest shows my average ping 30)..
Really desperate to get this to work because I had an older tp-link device (TL-WN722N) which also didn't work correctly (lost connection for a few seconds) but I figured that it just was old and hardware wasn't good
My router is Huawei B525 and PC's OS is Win10

Hello, this is the latest public driver for the T2U Plus, please try to install it manually on the computer and see if it helps:
https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202006/20200601/00015960-RTLWlanU_WindowsDriver_1030.38.0712.2019_Drv_3.00.0032.L.zip
Please remove all the drivers for this adapter on the computer, install the above driver manually: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/920/.
BTW, you may run a Wi-Fi analyzer on the PC to verify which channel is busy and which is clear for the 5G and 2.4G network, then choose a clear channel on the router, change the 2.4G channel width to 40MHz, and 5G to 80MHz on the router, then reboot both the router and the PC to confirm.

Glad to hear that the 2.4G connection status has been improved now. As for the 5G issue, have you try my previous suggestions to run a Wi-Fi analyzer to find a clearer 5G channel on the Huawei B525? You can also change the channel width to 40MHz on it.
How about the 5G signal on this computer? You may check what is the RSSI by the Wi-Fi analyzer as well, the value lower than -80 dBm is considered poor signal strength, you need to relocate the computer or the router to make them closer to each other.

@Kevin_Z Kevin, I have a similar issue with my Archer T2U AC600 V3 adapter. My Pc loses 8% of packets
With my tp link adapter:
min pin: 43 ms
max pin: 2977 ms
average: 211 ms
packets lost: 8%
with my android phone next to my PC and same network:
min pin: 55 ms
max pin: 796 ms
average: 117 ms
packets lost: 0%
I don´t know what to do. I have restarted my PC, my router, downloaded the last driver... nothing seems to work. Thanks!

@SantiagoV i didnt think about this first when i downloaded drivers, but make sure you choose your region from the website when you are about to download the drivers. That prevents you using wrong drivers that doesnt suit your cou trys bandwidth.. Im from EU and had US drivers downloaded. I switched to EU drivers and now its better.. I dont know why noone from support hasnt mentioned that possibility
Hope that helps you :)
