How do Change my router security type to either WPA2 (AES) or WPA3 security type?

Hey Manno

 

If you go to ADVANCED    WIRELESS       WIRELESS SETTINGS   you should be able to select  WPA2-PSK  and AES    as you requested.

 

WPA3 will not be an option on this model as it only appears on the newer AX (WiFi6) devices

@Philbert hi I was trying to do the same and on the app cannot find wireless settings. Can you guide me to the right place. Thanks Dave

@Daveh555 you need to go into the TP-Link webpage to find follow the steps as set out and not the app. I followed the steps and was able to do make the necessary change. Go to www.tplinkwifi.net

Yes you are better connecting directly to the routers web interface to configure this.
