Can somebody advise:

 

Do I need to register my Router in order to set up Parental Control or  is it able to select the Router itself online?

 

I want to allocate time on line for my kid - thanks in advance?

Thank you for posting on the TP-Link Community.
 

It is not a necessity to create a TP-Link account if you want to use the Parental Control feature, but it is suggested to have one, as you may want to monitor or modify the settings when you are not home.
