Hi All

I have just changed my Virgin Media Hub3 to modem mode and connected a TPLINK VR900 V2.

Before the change, the Hub3 was getting 210mb/s on 5ghz and around 150mb/s on 2.4ghz (It's a 200mb package so these are good).

After connecting the TPLINK VR900 5gz has done down to 70mb/s and 2.4ghz is a measly 50mb/s.  A wired connection into the TPLINK gets the full 210mb/s.

The only changes were to put the VR900 into wifi router mode and I manually selected channels (although the speeds are the same when channel select is auto).

I've rebooted, hard reset and the speeds are consistent throughout the house.  Both the Hub3 and the TPLINK are in  the same location.

The main reason for the change was that my PS4 games console will not connect to the Hub3 for love or money, plus I was led to believe that the TPLink Router was superior to the Hub3.

Am I missing something?   Are there some settings that I have missed on the router set up?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
