I have my router connected to the modem in bridge mode and every once in a while the connection to the modem will just drop (red led on router). 

I can fix this by unplugging the network cable connection from the router to the modem for a few seconds and plugging it back in.

It seems like there are people having similar issues with intermittent disconnects with TP Link routers; is this a firmware issue? The latest firmware release notes seem to suggest they have fixed an issue that sounds like this one but it is still occurring!
