Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20200716 rel.84595(5553)

So I am trying to move from my Asus AX88u to the Archer AX11000.

Since I started I am having a ton of issues.

  • The Internet is much slower, I have tried rebooting the modem and router, disconnecrting it, even fsactory reset both the Archer and the Asus Routers. the Asus one gets 980/990mbps. The Archer gives me at the most 700/850Mbps.
  • Also it seems like the Archer does not show all the Clients, under NetworkMap it shows 43, Under DHCP Server it shows 50.
  • USB Storage Device is not working, I am sharing it in the the Router settings, typed user and password. This worked without a problem on Asus, the TP Link Router is not working at all.
  • Port Forwarding is also having issues. This seems to be a hit or miss. Works sometimes.

Also need to add, tried playing some games, and the gasmes that have been flawless began to have tons of packet loss.

@ZeroHart

Is the ASUS AX88U still in use, or it is connected between the modem and the AX11000? If you want to use the AX11000 to replace the AX88U, please connect the AX11000 to the ISP modem directly, reset the AX11000 to factory defaults to exclude any setting on it which may affect the speed, don't change any advanced settings such as speedtest on the web internet or QoS. BTW, who is your ISP? Is this 980/990mbps or 700/850Mbps speed tested on a wired PC or on the laptop or phone? Please compare the link speed on that device when connected to the AX11000 and when connected to the AX88U.

As for the client display issue, only the connected devices display in the client list under the network may. Please check if are all the 50 devices in use when you check the client list on the network map, as the DHCP may have a release time interval, when the clients disconnected to the network, they may still show up in the list for some time.

If the USB is not working properly on the AX11000, please check this configuration manual to set it up:

This is the guide to configure Port Forwarding on the AX11000:
