I have 5 decos around house and a few network switches, can I connect the five decos to various switches to create a backhaul , is this the way. If not how can I do it.   Most appropriated

Yes, you can connect Decos to switches to enable Ethernet backhaul. How you can do that, depends if you run Deco in router or in access point mode. See TP-Link FAQ article on that topic: General questions about Ethernet Backhaul feature on your Deco.

 

A caveat: Deco E4 has 100Mbps Ethernet ports. If you are getting faster than 100Mbps speeds on devices connected to Satellite Decos with WiFi backhaul, you may wish to leave these Satellite Decos as is.

@Alexandre. merci beaucoup professeur . jai une instalation dans une tres grand maison alors je fait le backhaul par 2 pack de 3 unites deco m9plus . le premier agire routeur les 5 autres des points d'acces par un switch entre le routeur et les APs . est ce que comme sa je garde le meme reseau le meme nom le meme mot de passe le systeme mesh je veut dire , je le garde ? je profite de se systeme ou pas ???? merci infiniment
