Model: Deco E4
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.1 Build 20210330 Rel. 64251

Hello! Does Deco E4 support ethernet backhaul? I tried following the procedures in the FAQs. But I believe the model presented there was Deco M5? I just want to know if Deco E4 supports that too. Thanks!!

@SheldonWalker

Hi, it does support Ethernet backhaul as well.

Did you have any issue with the Ethernet backhaul on the Deco E4?

@TP-Link Hello! I am glad that I was able to establish the ethernet backhaul feature just today. However, I wish to know more about it. Having 3 units, ofcourse 1 from the 3 is the main, how do I choose whether which of the 2 units to be used as the source of the other? I hope you get what I'm trying to say. Thanks a lot!

@SheldonWalker

I am not sure I got it 100% but here is some information for your reference:

1. there is no signal source for the main Deco(or you could consider the ISP modem as its signal source).

2. As for the other two satellite Deco nodes, the signal source is displayed on the APP:

Click the middle global icon and choose the satellite Deco
