Wifi range low

Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 0.9.1 v0001.0 Build 200511 Rel.44954n
I have a new Mr600 4g router.
The wifi rang is much lower than my 4g"dongle" I had before.
We changed to this to increase the wifi range and stability.
Also the 5 ghz does not show up only 2,4.
We are living out on the country side so, no big disrupts.
Any close on how to increase the wifi range?
