You don't have to use OneMesh and 1.5.7 more stable than 1.5.3.

 

And there are different versions, seems EU is 4555, US is 5553, I found 5255 -  (1.5.0 Build 201022 Rel.53112n(5255), added.

Thank you so much! I will stay on 1.5.0 - after I upgraded my archer C6 to the undowngradable 1.3.0 FW it caused constant ping spikes on 5Ghz band to certain devices (widespread and still not fixed problem to this day) and I don't want to risk trashing my router again. I might try 1.5.7 one day, only if I can return to 1.5.0 in case OneMesh causes the same problems...

What region version is Your current firmware? Please paste the full line. As if needed, I have also 1.5.5 Build 210219 Rel.35914n(4555) (this fixes 1.5.3 -s multicast issues) and does not contain OneMesh support. Added.

 

BTW, as C6 does not support OneMesh, then even when C80  does support OneMesh, it should not cause any issues for C6.

@ksuuk My Archer C80 is EU region V1. C6 EU supports OneMesh from 1.3.0

BTW, as 1.5.7 does not allow to switch off OneMesh, I also downgraded to 1.5.5 and support said, that they have a plan to add OneMesh on/off switch into the next official firmware.

I have a similar problem with the slowness of the network both wired and wifi randomly in the day, but at that precise moment if I connect an ethernet cable from my isp to my computer I get the maximum speed, the solution I find is to connect and disconnect the cable which links my isp and the tp link. Could you share the firmware 1.5.5 with me? no brick problem when downgrading? i have archer c80 usa v1

It's added few messages above - Archer+C80(EU)_V1_210219.zip, but this is EU (4555) version.
